Wargames
Wargames are precisely what the name says: games which simulate war or war-like situations. Wargames are often mechanically dense, granular representations of a single conflict which focus around area control. They are noted for frequently making use of hidden information and asymmetrical player positions to more accurately represent the conflict in question.
